New Football Mouthpiece
Yesterday on ESPN outside the lines i watched a new piece of technology that may help NFL players. A new mouthpiece has been created by a company that may help reduce concussions. The new mouthpiece is much larger and thicker but it prevents your upper jam from slamming into your head. That is the main cause the company says is your upper jam hitting the bottom of your skull. Hopefully this new mouth piece can be succesfull and pro long the careers of all football players.

yeah this is defiantely a area the nfl must address. You see to mny players having career ending injuries with effects that stay around even after they leave the game. The priority to have reduced concusiions is very high and i believe that any new piece of technology that will help is a very good idea.
I m not to sure this will cure the concussion problem in football, but it could work. I have a hard time being believeing that anything will reduce the number of concussions in the nfl because of the speed, size, and strength of these athletes today. I mean how many people even wear a mouth piece in the nfl these days? Not many. I think a lot of the cause is because most lead with their helmets to tackle. They made new and improved impact helmets, and people are still getting concussions, so i dont feel the new and improved mouth piece will lower the risk of head truma.
